Established in 1929
Rawlinsville Mennonite Church began in 1929 as an outreach of Lancaster Mennonite Conference under the ministry of the Byerland-New Danville District. From 1929 to 1948, the congregation leased the old Muddy Run Presbyterian meetinghouse. In 1948, the District and the Mission Board constructed the present brick church building.
In 1999, Rawlinsville became one of 15 Lancaster Conference congregations that withdrew to form the Keystone Mennonite Fellowship. These congregations differed with the direction represented by the 1995 Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective and continued to adhere to the 1963 Mennonite Confession of Faith.
Today, Rawlinsville continues as a member of the Keystone Mennonite Fellowship. The congregation is part of the Rawlinsville District, which includes the Oak Shade, Oakwood, and Hampden congregations. Average Sunday morning attendance is around 45.
